Isolation by design

Most multi-tenant platforms keep every customer in one shared database and trust each query to filter by customer. We don't. Your panel is its own Odoo with its own database, and the Odoos you run for your clients live on servers that are yours alone. Panels share hardware, never data.

Encrypted platform backups on every paid plan (7–30 day retention, Cloudflare R2 in the EU) — the Free plan doesn't include them. For the instances you deploy: bring any S3-compatible bucket, or contract managed storage from 2.99 €/month, also on R2 in the EU — and we hand you the credentials, not the other way around.

Frequently asked questions

On the Free plan, your Odoo instance automatically stops after ~30 minutes of inactivity and starts again when you access it. If you don't access it for 14 days, the account is auto-suspended and you'll need to reactivate it manually. This keeps resource consumption to a minimum. All paid plans (Starter, Professional, Business, Agency) run 24/7 with no auto-sleep.
Any version between 18.0 and 20.0. You pick the version when you create the project, and each instance you deploy in it runs that version, with the Postgres version you pick for the instance. It stays fixed once the instance is deployed.
Yes. IncubaCloud can deploy and manage both Odoo Community Edition and Odoo Enterprise instances. You bring your own Odoo code and repositories — IncubaCloud handles the infrastructure regardless of edition. The panel itself is built on Odoo Community and uses no Enterprise modules, so you don't need an Enterprise license to run it.
No, not to operate. The platform handles the heavy lifting: deploys with boot tests, automatic backups, automatic HTTPS, multi-environment per project. Some basic understanding helps if things get tricky and you want to SSH into the VPS to debug — but it's not required to run your tenants.
Odoo.sh runs on Odoo SA's infrastructure. IncubaCloud runs on YOUR infrastructure — your VPS (own or ordered through us), your S3 backups, your domain, your data. On top of that we add the SaaS control plane: single sign-on across tenants, multi-tenant management, billing, custom domains with HTTPS. The Odoo management module itself is on GitHub, free to install and use.
Three paths depending on what you have: (1) if your instance is already running on a VPS, connect it via SSH and we import it as-is — config, repos, domains; (2) if your project lives on Git, paste the repo URL and we rebuild the configuration (we read both .copier-answers.yml from doodba and .gitmodules from Odoo.sh); (3) if you have a backup ZIP, restore it from the UI in minutes. A complete Odoo.sh migration usually combines (2) + (3).
By default everything sits on a Hetzner Cloud VPS in Germany (EU). Backups are encrypted before they leave the server. The ones we store — your panel's own backups on paid plans and the managed storage you can contract — are all kept in the EU on Cloudflare R2. You can also send your instances' backups to a bucket of your own on any S3-compatible service (AWS, MinIO, Backblaze, Wasabi…). You always have SSH access to your VPS.
By design, not by a filter. Most multi-tenant platforms keep every customer in one shared database; we don't. Your panel is its own Odoo with its own PostgreSQL, deployed as a standard Doodba project with CPU and memory limits of its own. The Odoos you run for your clients live on servers that are yours alone — the VPS you connect or the ones you order through us — never on hosts shared with other customers. The panel talks to the platform only through single sign-on and credentials scoped to your account: backup storage, metrics and the firewall of each VPS.
Yes. You can connect any VPS you have SSH access to — Hetzner, OVH, AWS Lightsail, on-prem, anything. If you'd rather not handle the contract, you can also order one on demand from the platform itself: pick size and region and we deliver it ready with SSH, firewall and HTTPS.
Support covers the management platform only: ensuring containers run, deployments execute, and backups are performed. It does not include Odoo consulting or functional Odoo support — we're an infrastructure layer for the people who already do that for their clients. What you get depends on your plan. Free: the documentation. Starter: email, with a first reply within 3 business days. Professional: priority email, first reply within 1 business day. Business and Agency: a first reply the same business day, plus live chat in your customer portal during business hours (Monday to Friday, except public holidays in Barcelona, 9:00 to 18:00 Madrid time). Yes — that's by design. Every deployment is a standard Doodba project (docker-compose + copier answers + repos.yaml) living on the host. You can export a sanitized copy of any instance's project folder — secrets stripped — from the platform, and the same project runs identically on your laptop, your VPS or another provider. The stack is the same for development, testing and production. If you leave, your Odoos keep running without us.
A dedicated unprivileged operator user (root SSH keys migrated to it), SSH lockdown, an nftables firewall with SSH limited to the platform, fail2ban to block repeated failed logins, kernel sysctl hardening, automatic security updates, Docker daemon hardening, journald limits and auditd rules.
